Matt Damon’s Kids Don’t Know What Daddy Does
Matt Damon and wife Lucia Barroso have two daughters together — Isabella, 3, and Gia, 18-months — neither of which really knows what it is that daddy does for a living. Seriously. Not only is the Invictus star an exceptionally boring guy in his estimation, but he’s also a bit of a BS artist truth bender.
Once again, that’s coming straight from the superstar himself, not me. In a recent interview, Matt revealed that he uses gadgets and a few lies of omission to keep his kids in the dark.
Says Matt:
“The thing is with digital cameras and everything now, kids see themselves and their parents on screen every day.”
“I’m sure one day they’ll figure out what daddy does for a living but for now it’s a handy way to avoid the issue.”
What do you think, is there anything wrong with that? Do children of celebrities deserve the right to know their parent is a superstar? Even if they’re too boring to get stalked by that paparazzi?
