Academy Awards: How My 4-Year-Old Rated The Red Carpet
My kid, she loves the fashion. Gowns, dresses, a stylish frock – she adores them all. My four-year-old fashionista and I sat down and watched the red carpet (while also playing Candyland I might add) and she weighed in with her expert opinion on the outfits donned at this years Academy Awards. Check out what this little one had to say about the hot red carpet action.

Penelope Cruz –
“Oohhhhhh I love it. It looks like wrapping paper. Like she’s a big present.”

Vera Farmiga:
“I like red. It looks like the color red. It looks like a red flamingo. I’d wear that dress”

Anna Kendricks
“I like the pink. It’s fashion. Mommy, do you know what fashion means? It means something fancy.”

Amanda Seyfried (in Armani Prive)
“She looks like a beautiful silver earring. Oh! Wait! I think it’s her wedding dress!“

Tina Fey
“Her dress looks like DaDa’s hair because it’s black. And it reminds me of his shoes ‘cos they’re black too.”

“It looks like it’s metal or the clouds. Or kinda looks like a jukebox.”

“I like it because it’s sparkly and black. It looks like a piano.”

“It’s ugly. It look like she is wearing someone’s sheet.”

Charlize Theron
“She looks like a tight flamingo. Her boobs look funny.”
“Woooohhhhhh….It’s pretty! I like it ‘cos I like the ruffles. And it has sparkles. Is it purple? I like purple! I like light purple and I like dark purple. “
“I like it because it looks like a mermaid. It looks kinda like the sky. “

“She looks a pink and black swan.”

Sigourney Weaver
“I like it because it’s red. She looks like a big red apple.“
