levi bristol convention thumb 238x300 Levis Got to Pay Up Bristol Palin Wins Child Support SuitLevi Johnston is gonna have to pay up. Although he doesn’t have any job security and his fifteen minutes are coming to a close, the court ruled in favor of Bristol Palin and her request for child support. How much does he have to pay?

TMZ has reported that he must pay “$1,688.42 a month in support, retroactive to the child’s birth — December 27, 2008.” So right off the bat he’ll need to pay about $18,000 in back child support.   Last year Levi had a pretty good year, raking in about $105,000 through promotions, appearances and the occasional Pistachio commercial.  But before he became famous for being the baby daddy of Sarah Palin’s grandkid, the most he made in a year was about $10,000.  I don’t think he can make a career being a Playgirl centerfold, he better get himself a marketable skill and fast!

That is a ridiculous amount for child support for a guy his age. I barely make that much myself, with a decent job. What on earth is Bristol going to do with all that money? She lives at home, I can’t imagine what she could possibly need all that money for, even if she is paying childcare on her own!
