Joey Lawrence’s Wife Pregnancy Sickness Scare
Some scary news coming out of the the Lawrence household this week.
Joey Lawrence’s pregnant wife was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder that could negatively effect their unborn daughter.
Chandi Yawn-Nelson was diagnosed with Rh disease.
It’s such a scary thing to be pregnant, but throw in a rare blood disorder and then all you do is stress. Then stress can have a negative impact. It’s a vicious circle.
Lawrence said, “There are so many unknowns about it because it is so rare. All you can do is pray hard and be positive.”
That’s what we’ll do.
The couple has a 3-year-old little girl, Charli, who I’m sure is such a comfort to her parents right now.
We’ll keep her in our thoughts as she deals with this issue.

About 10% of white pregnancies have Rh- mothers with Rh+ babies. When I had that problem when I was pregnant, they gave me a couple of shots of Rhogam during my pregnancy and delivery. Nasty, painful shots, but totally worth it. All the same, my thoughts are with them.
