Get Out The Afghan: Jenny McCarthy Is Going To Be a Grandma
Jenny McCarthy is getting ready to be a ‘grandma’ after boyfriend Jim Carrey’s daughter Jane gives birth in the next few weeks.
“I’m really excited,” McCarthy tells UsMagazine.com. “I think I’m gonna rock as a grandma.”
McCarthy says she treats Jane, who is Carrey’s daughter with his ex wife Melissa Womer, as one of her own. “We have an awesome relationship. I consider her my daughter,” McCarthy says.
The actress and author, who has a 7-year-old son Evan, says grandparents need to learn to walk a fine line. “Mother-in-laws can get annoying once you have a baby because they’re trying to tell you how to raise your baby, and I don’t like anyone telling me how to raise my baby,” she says. “So I have to learn how to just stay out of it and keep my mouth shut and only give advice when needed. I think that’s what makes a cool grandma to shut up!”
