Pete Tweets: Fall Out Boy Is Breaking Up
It’s a sad day for emo-fans… word has it the Fall Out Boy is officially on an indefinite hiatus (meaning that the band has pretty much broken up). Apparently, the band mates decided to use the Twitterverse to spread the news.
Looks like Pete and Ashlee are about to have a lot more time to spend with 14-month-old Bronx.
If you’ve been following bassist Pete Wentz or singer Patrick Stump on Twitter, they’ve pretty much confirmed the break-up. Tweets Pete:
“Cant imagine playing in fob again. something would have to change in my head or my heart- not my wallet. itd have to be real.”
From Pete’s Blog:
“As much as I don’t have a solo project, I also can’t predict that I’d ever play in Fall Out Boy again.”
With Ashlee’s stint on Broadway coming to an end soon, and Ashlee already planning a hiatus of her own, the superstar couple are about to be enjoying the retired life. Weird.
I’m not a glass is half-empty guy, or a Fall Out Boy fan. So, as you might expect, I’m looking at the bright side of this break-up: no more Fall Out Boy. Woohoo!
