c1c60ab0 52b4 4055 a357 1baaac6989ed 286x300 Grammys: Stephen Colbert To Daughter...Am I Cool Now?A majority of parents have a deep desire to have their kids think they are ‘cool’, and Stephen Colbert is no exception.  The comedian, actor and star of the aptly named Colbert Report took his teenage daughter Madeline as his date to the Grammys. But daddy, he was working.

Colbert was the host of the show and during his intro he asked his daughter from the stage if he was “cool” now since he got that gig. She firmly shook her head no. But her tune changed later in the evening
Colbert won the award for best comedy album for “A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All.” During his acceptance speech he said “This is a Christmas album, so obviously I should thank Jesus Christ for having such a great birthday.”  He then asked Madeline,  “am I cool now?” This time, with tears in her eyes, she nodded yes.
