Brittany Brees – The Woman Behind The Quarterback
You know what they say, behind every great man is a great woman, and the saying holds true for Drew Brees as well. Drew is the very talented quarterback for the very talented New Orleans Saints and he’s going to the Super Bowl.
Drew’s wife Brittany is the mother of his son and a real life partner in Drew’s charitable endeavors. They established the Brees Dream Foundation in 2003 to help in the fight against cancer. The couple also donated $2 million to their Alma mater, Purdue, to enhance the athletic programs there.
The couple met while at Purdue and were married in 2003. Their son Baylen was born January 15,2009, which happened to be Drew’s 30th birthday.
What a great birthday present for him. They’ll always be able to celebrate together. Plus Drew won’t have to work real hard to remember his kid’s birthday.
I’m sure Brittany is very supportive of Drew and his crazy schedule during the season and the grueling workouts during the off-season.
