In an interview with Access Hollywood, Federline explains why he gained so much weight. He was partly depressed because of his divorce from Britney Spears in 2006. That led to overeating.

He explained, “A number of things between, I mean, everybody knows what happened with me and Brit. I’m not going to say that’s the total cause of it but, I mean, just not being happy with myself was probably the main part of my depression.”

He now says he’s really happy with life right now. His relationship with Britney is going well too.

“It’s gotten so much better from where we were,” he added. “I’m in the best possible scenario right now and I’m really happy for her. I’m very happy for her.”

Being married to Britney hasn’t sworn him off tying the knot again. He’s also willing to have more kids!

“I could see that happening too,” he admitted. ” I’ll let the young ones grow up first and we’ll see.”
