jennifer lopez 300x198 Jennifer Lopez Will Guest Star On How I Met Your MotherAnyone wonder how long it will take for JLo to follow up her sure-to-be dazzling guest role on Glee won’t have to wait long. Only a week after announcing that she’ll play a “cafeteria lady” on the glee club comedy, the JLo PR machine has announced that Jenny from the block will be making a cameo on another prime-time comedy — How I Met Your Mother.

This time, the superstar mommy will be playing a sensual new-age female empowerment guru, showing off her post-baby bod in skimpy outfits designed to reduce men to rubble.

The show’s executive producer describes her role as “a no-nonsense self-help guru teaching women how to ‘train’ men in relationships through the power of denial.”

Carter Bays goes on to compare JLo to an 78-year-old male morning show host. “We couldn’t be more excited about Jennifer Lopez joining us on ‘How I Met Your Mother. We’re looking forward to a week of revealing outfits and sexy dance moves the likes of which this show hasn’t seen since Regis Philbin guest starred.”

Wow. At least the writers came up with a role that put JLo’s sexy curves to better use than the geniuses behind Glee. JLo as a cafeteria lady? Really?
