Last Sunday, the paparazzi snapped a few pics of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale taking the boys to the LA farmers market, where they showed some promising interest in following in their parents footsteps at the drum booth.

Did the boys come home with any new musical instruments? From the photos, I really can tell — but I’m sure that the family stocked the pantry up with some farm-fresh treats. Not to mention, I’m fairly confident Zuma and Kingston already have a playroom full of musical playthings.

Going to the farmers market is such a cool way to teach kids about where their food comes from and expose them to a boarder range of local treats than you can find at the supermarket.

Obviously, Gwen and Gavin encourage their kids to be free spirits (just look at Kingston’s faux-hawk). Still, I wonder if the really want their kids to grow up to be rock stars? I guess mom and dad turned out OK, but few parents really want their kids to indulge in the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle too much…

Oh well, Gwen and Gavin have got plenty of time before they have to worry about the bad influences of stoner kids and drums circles.
