Gwyneth Paltrow And Chris Martin Expand Mansion Again
In their quest to buy each member of the family their very own home, Gwyneth and Chris have reportedly purchased a 3rd adjacent house in London — expanding on their newly-expanded 33-room mansion.
With only one more real estate purchase, Gwyneth, Chris, Apple and Moses could each be next-door neighbors. Obviously, privacy is a concern and the close-knit family of 4 doesn’t want to crowd one another.
The dust has barely settled on the first expansion (the family hasn’t moved back from the Hamptons), and now the crews are about to start renovating yet another house adjacent to the original residence. Apparently, neighbors are getting pretty tired of the constant construction. Says one:
“As neighbours, we have had years of their building works,’ said one irate householder.
Now the fence is just going to look ridiculous and we plan to object. They are turning a Victorian house into a fortress.
They have taken down trees so they can park their flash cars in the driveway and are putting a huge swimming pool in the back garden.”
On the bright side, Moses and Apple are getting a pool… that’s pretty sweet!
It’s interesting, because Gwyneth has somewhat outspoken about green issues, especially when it comes to lifestyle. The GOOP founder generally champions eco-conscious living. Yet, she and Chris are expanding their 33-room shack by a whole house, I repeat: a whole house. That doesn’t seem too earth-conscious does it?
Are Chris and Gwyn setting a good example for Moses and Apple? They definitely seem to be teaching the kids how to piss of their neighbors.
