Billy Baldwin To Join Gossip Girl Cast– But As Dear Old Dad!
Billy Baldwin will soon be joining the cast of the popular teen drama Gossip Girl. But he’s not too happy about his role on the show. He won’t be playing one of the fabulous young things that are the focus of the show, he’ll play one their daddys!
When on the red carpet at the Screen Actor’s Build Awards, in front of the media Alec Baldwin asked his younger bother, “So you’re gonna go play Blake Lively’s dad on ‘Gossip Girl?’”
“Ooh, that hurt,” Billy said. “Three years ago I would have been playing the older man in her life and now, all of a sudden, I’m playing her dad.”
“It seems like yesterday you’d be kissing Blake Lively. Now you’re trying to prevent other men from kissing Blake Lively,” Alec stated.
“I would’ve been Blake Lively’s lollipop three years ago,” Billy sighed in disbelief. “Now I’m Grandpa.”
