Kids Have Destroyed Julia Roberts’ Beauty Regimen
What’s the most noticeable thing that happens to a superstar when they have 3 kids? According to Julia Roberts, it’s that their beauty regimen comes to a “screeching halt,” obviously.
Luckily for Julia, she’s just been named Lancome’s global ambassador, so she never has to worry about doing her own makeup ever again.
In an interview with Us Magazine, the Pretty Woman star claims that her beauty routine has gone to hell in a hand basket because she has three little ones — Hazel and Phinnaeus, 5, and Henry, 2. Says Julia:
“It kind of comes to a screeching halt. At a certain point in the future, I’ll pick it back up again.
“I think the nice thing about getting older is it forces you in a way to take a greater interest in your [beauty] regime. And so it’s a good moment for me to join forces with people who can help me.”
You know, because it’s impossible for ultra-rich superstar moms with 3 or more kids to care about their looks…
Hmmm, I can think of a few smoking hot celebrity moms with 3+ kids. Names like Angelina, Victoria and Heidi come to mind.
Anyhow, I just thought it was funny just how beat-you-over-the-head condescending Julia’s quotes are. Julia also talked a little about working on her latest film “Eat, Pray, Love.”
“It was a little bit daunting, dragging three little kids around the world, but well worth it… it was really like the acting Olympics,” said Roberts, whose last movie, Duplicity, hit theaters in spring 2009. “It’s been a long time since I’ve had a full-time acting job.”
