NY Times Fashion Blogger Implies Courteney Cox and Kate Hudson Are Getting Fat
Apparently a scrutinizing and possibly visually-impaired person named Andy Port writes for the New York Times fashion blog The Moment. In a post titled “A Rounder Golden Globes,” Port claims gorgeous (and very thin!) moms Courteney Cox and Kate Hudson looked heavier and more “Marilyn than Twiggy” and that you can tell the weight gain by their fuller upper arms at the Golden Globes. This photo of Cox, by the way, was taken in October. The piece also accuses one of Hollywood’s most famous and best still-single bodies of getting plumper too. The other victim of this piece? Jennifer Aniston! You be the judge and let us know if you think the gals look, well, rounder. Andy Port writes, “maybe it’s just me” and I’m thinking, yes, Andy, IT’S JUST YOU. Plus, what message do these unnecessary comments say to young women struggling with body image issues? Was the NY Times fashion blog that devoid of topics that Port had to resort to this? Well, I guess you know where we stand…
