Hope For Haiti Now – Celebrity Parents Show They Care
It’s never too early to teach kids about caring. And the best way to do that is through actions. A slew of celebrity parents are showing their own kids – and ours -that it’s not enough to just sit on the sidelines, when people are in need we all need to come together for the cause.
The big-hearted George Clooney has put together a star studded telethon “Hope for Haiti Now” to raise money for the relief efforts in Haiti that will air this Friday. What celebrity parents are sharing their time and talent for the telethon?
In New York Maddona, Jennifer Hudson, Bruce Springsteen and Mary J. Blige will perform. In Los Angeles Christina Aguilera and Ketih Urban will sing. And in London, Coldplay will play.
And also participating will be Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington and former president Bill Clinton.
The event will be aired at 8pm (EST) on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, BET, The CW, HBO, MTV, VH1, CMT, PBS, TNT, Showtime, Comedy Central, Brave, E! Entertainment and more. And online live streaming will be available on YouTube, Hulu, MySpace and more domains as well.
