BREAKING: NBC To Pay Conan O’Brien $30M To Leave
Sorry, Team Coco, but it looks like Conan O’Brien will officially be vacating the Tonight Show chair. But at least he’s getting a big sack of cash as a going away present.
Sources are reporting that NBC has agreed to pay O’Brien $30 million to vacate the 11:35 p.m. Tonight Show. The deal is not formally signed but is expected to be announced by Friday evening.
It’s too bad that Conan was pushed out of his spot, but at least he’ll have a nice chunk of change to distract him. I’ll bet his kids get great birthday presents this year — ponies for Neve and Beckett!
