“Jersey Shore” Is A No Show In The White House
I watched my first 17 seconds of “Jersey Shore” the other day and will take precautions to make sure I never watch it again. It’s a show that I will never watch again, nor will my kids ever see it.
I was so relieved when I read this little blurb that I had to share. No one in the White House watches “Jersey Shore.”
Mrs. Obama talked about the girls TV watching habits and said, “They can only watch the kid-TV channels for the most part, because you just never know.”
President Obama said this about it, “Unless they want to watch football with me, which they’re always welcome. But somehow they haven’t been drawn to that yet.”
They don’t let the kids watch TV during the week, “We’re pretty strict about that.”
I need to be more strict about that, but sometimes it’s easier to let them play the Wii for a little while so I can get some work done.
How about you? What are your tricks to keeping your kids busy while you get things done?
