Lrichard heene mug shot balloon boy jail 263x300 Balloon Boy Dad, Lying Liar Richard Heene, Is In Jailying liar Richard Heene, who lied about his son Falcon being trapped in a runaway balloon, reported to Larimer County Detention Center in Fort Collins, Colorado on Monday to begin serving his 90-day sentence for lying. Did I mention I think this guy is a liar?

Yet, he still won’t admit it. Heene claims he only pleaded guilty in order to keep his wife, Mayumi, from being deported to her native Japan. He also says she misunderstood the meaning of the word ‘hoax’ when she reportedly confessed to authorities. I wonder if she understands the word ‘liar’?

The Heenes must also pay restitution for the rescue effort that tied up resources from two counties and sent other agencies scrambling. Richard Heene also faces an $11,000 civil penalty from the Federal Aviation Administration. Also, Heene faces a lifetime of guilt for making his 6-year-old son lie.

He will not have a lifetime of guilt because he thinks his actions were justified since he wanted media attention. And I am sure he now feels the state is just picking on him.It seems he has learned nothing from this mess.
