Last week, the lovely Ellen Pompeo swapped her Grey’s Anatomy scrubs for a blue jumpsuit and joined Jimmy Kimmel to talk about new mommyhood and more. Jimmy presented Ellen with the perfect gift for her 15 month old baby Stella, a pint sized Dr.’s outfit embroidered with “Dr. McDreamy.” (ahhh, cute).

In exchange, Ellen opened up about new motherhood, and told Jimmy about a baby shower — er, a “work baby shower” that was given by her “work friends.” Touching on something many a mom-to-be juggling baby shower lists can relate to, Ellen explained, “There are different groups of friends and you can’t mix them. It’s a whole awkward weird thing. You know how girls are!” Oh yes we do.

Later in the week, Ellen was snapped in LA getting ready for a photo shoot. Weeks after Stella was born, Ellen looked no worse for the wear, and from the looks of her in this all black ensemble, no one would ever guess that Dr. Grey had become anyone’s mommy. Yes, we know that black can make a body look good…but rarely this good 15 weeks after delivering a baby! ellen pompeo psfox 1 150x150 Ellen Pompeo Fesses Up About New Motherhood, Girlfriends Who Dont Always Get Along, and More
