Jean Smart Shares Baby News – Adopted a Baby Girl From China
Jean Smart is good at keeping secrets. Last May she and her husband Richard adopted a baby girl from China and she just now made the news public while paying a visit to the Bonnie Hunt Show.
Perhaps she was inspired to share their new addition because the 18-month old girl just happens to be named Bonnie too. Jean, Richard and their son Conner (who’s 19) made the trip to China to retrieve her. Jean said “When I came back, there were four of us!”
There is quite an age difference between the two siblings Conner 19 and Bonnie at only a year and a half, but they are “so smitten” with each other. Jean quipped “We thought they were going to be closer in age when we first started this!”
