Tom Won’t Let Katie Get A Tattoo
Sounds like the Beckhams are starting to rub off on Katie Holmes. According to reports, Katie wants to get a devotional tattoo in honor of her man, just like her friend Victoria. But unlike tattoo fiend David Beckham, Tom is not too keen on the whole tattoo idea. In fact, he’s allegedly “desperate” to stop her from getting a tat.

“The 30-year-old actress, who has three-year-old daughter Suri with husband Tom Cruise, is desperate to get an inking to prove her devotion to Tom, but he is unsure.
A source said: “He’s desperately trying to talk her out of getting the tattoo.”
Katie came up with the idea after seeing the etching pal Victoria Beckham had to mark her 10 year wedding anniversary earlier this year.
Victoria had the Hebrew words for ‘Together, Forever, Eternally’ inked on her wrist in honour of her soccer star husband David.
Katie is determined to get a similar inscription.”
I’m not sure why, but I wonder if Suri has anything to do with Tom’s reluctance to give his approval to the body art (it is for Tom, right?) Maybe Tom thinks that if he lets mom get one, it’s the equivalent of saying it’s OK to let Suri get one when she comes of age.
Maybe it’s the Scientology thing, but for some reason I totally have Tom pegged as a super-strict father, one that would never be cool with his daughter having a tattoo — or his wife, for that matter.
IMO, tattoos just aren’t Katie’s style anyways.
