Jennifer Garner Is Not Looking For Another Broadway Gig, So Don’t Ask
Jennifer may have garnered some high praise (pun intended) for her recent role opposite Kevin Kline in a Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac, but don’t expect to see her performing live again any time soon — at least, not until Violet, 4, and Seraphina, 11 months, are grown.
In a recent interview with W Magazine, Garner had this to say about her stint on Broadway:
“(It was) just my favorite thing I’ve ever done.
“(But) it’s hard on my family. You can’t tell your kids, ‘I’m exhausted. Wake up with someone else today.’”
I guess I never considered how much more demanding it must be to have to do a show every night than to show up on a film set for a few hours a day for a few weeks. The pay probably isn’t as good either, so I guess no one can fault Jennifer for sticking to film.
