Obama Ambulance Drama Revealed
So what caused President Barack Obama to abruptly end his golf outing in Hawaii on Monday while an ambulance sped to his vacation compound? It’s incredibly tempting to make a joke here involving golf, a nurse and Tiger Woods but I’ll stick to the facts.
After the President sped in his motorcade away from the golf course rumors flew that one of Obama’s daughters, Sasha or Malia, had been involved in an accident. It was later learned that a friend’s child was injured while playing on the beach.
A White House official, speaking on the condition of anonymity because of a reluctance to discuss personal matters involving the president, said that members of the first family were fine. The injury to the child, belonging to Obama friends Eric and Cheryl Whitaker, was described as relatively minor and that the child did not require stitches.
