Holiday Blues: Britney Haunted By Her Aborted Pregnancy
The holidays can be a difficult time for people who suffer from depression and Britney Spears is no exception. According to the National Enquirer, Britney’s not only been battling feelings of loneliness this Christmas, she’s allegedly been haunted by what could have been … the baby that could have been, to be specific.
As the story goes, Britney and K-Fed reunited briefly during the holidays in 2007. After the inevitable re-breakup, Britney found out she was pregnant and told K-Fed, who immediately denied that he was the father and that she was cheating on him.
Though K-Fed was probably guilty of doing the same, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt … maybe he was right. That was during Britney’s crazed, shaved-head period.
Either way, being in no shape to raise a child, Britney apparently decided to terminate the pregnancy. And however wise that was or wasn’t, Britney is supposedly still racked with guilt over it.
According to the Enquirer’s insider, Britney recently suffered a creepy emotional breakdown where she shouted “I killed my baby!”
Even though Britney’s come a long way since her head-shaving days, it seems that she still hasn’t quite been able to leave the past behind. If you’ve ever been alone at Christmas, you know it can certainly bring some of those melancholy feelings to the surface.
