Jon Gosselin’s New York Apartment Ransacked By Butcher Knife Wielding Maniac
Woah. Someone is way way mad at Jon Gosselin. The reality star and very new divorcee returned back to his New York City Apartment and found it had been completely “ransacked” by a “butcher knife wielding maniac.” What damage was done?
His lawyer Mark Jay Hellar stated that, “Jon Gosselin called me this afternoon, on the occasion when he entered his apartment in Manhattan and was horrified, disheartened, and saddened to observe the devastation of his furniture, clothing and personal belongings, which were apparently slashed with a butcher knife by a very troubled and sick perpetrator.”
His attorney said that and that his “”television, CD player, coffee maker, a Nintendo Wii game, dishes, pots and pans were burglarized from his apartment.” And that “shoes, shirts, luggage, bed, curtain, rugs and other furnishings” had been brutally slashed. Also he said that a “Ming vase, believed to be over 100 years old … was smashed to pieces.”
His lawyers continued to tell E! Online that, “The greatest damage from this vicious, mean spirited and heartless crime was perpetrated not on Jon’s property and possessions, but on Jon Gosselin himself who experienced a traumatic, emotional, roller coaster ride having just shared a joyful family gathering with his children.” Continues Heller, Gosselin “was devastated by such a cruel and cold-blooded act that was apparently intended to cut to his heart.”
So who was responsible? There haven’t been arrests yet but it has been reported that there was a note “affixed to Jon’s bedroom dresser by a butcher knife.”and it was signed by Jon’s girlfriend Hailey Glassman – who he shares the apartment with. But anyone could have signed it with her name. The note made reference to Jon being a “cheater”.
Is this the work of a woman scorned or just a wacko?
