Joel Refuses To Act Tough for Harlow After Visisting the Dentist
As a parent, you want your kid to feel good about going to the dentist. So, when you go get a dental procedure done, you tell your little ones that it doesn’t hurt, even when it does. Right? If your name is Joel Madden, then apparently not. Joel spent the entire weekend laid up in bed Tweeting all about how much pain he was in following a dental surgery. Hopefully he was able to mask some of the agony.
How do we know all this about Joel’s private life? Because he updates his Twtitter every five minutes. From Joel’s Twitter page:
“4am can’t sleep. Dental surgery yesterday kept me up all nite. looks like the entire family is staying in the house today. Its rainin anyway…
I wish i could have gone to see the fight tonight. instead i had dental surgery that kept me in pain and in bed….
Good morning everyone. My jaw is still swollen from the dental surgery. And i’m still on pain killers. Got to sleep in today so thats good.”
Now, I could slam Joel for whining way too much, but I won’t. I just think parents should act tough after their various trips to the doctor/dentist so their kids won’t get all traumatized and throw a fit in the waiting room every time the go to get a check-up.
I mean, in a toddler’s world, your parents are super strong. If you see one of them go down, it makes a big impression.
Judging from his Tweets, it doesn’t seem like Joel pulled it off. If I were Harlow, I’d probably be horrified of everything related to dentistry.

In the olden days we would chill out with a read of the daily paper, now I really think people should take an hour out of their day to read some random blog posts and expand their knowledge on new and fascinating subjects. Keep up your writing.
