Update: Chris Henry Dead
Update: Chris Henry has passed since the initial writing of this post. Our condolences to his family, friends and fans.
ESPN is reporting that Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry has been seriously injured in an auto accident in North Carolina. The Wikipedia page dedicated to Henry is claiming that he died from the injuries he sustained.
ESPN quotes police as stating that Henry fell out of a truck bed in Charlotte, North Carolina during a domestic dispute with his fiance. Apparently he jumped in the back of the vehicle as she was driving it. He was found in the road “apparently suffering life-threatening injuries”.
Henry has been listed on the Bengals injury report due to a broken arm. He has three children.
Our thoughts to the Henry family and the Bengals organization.
