Sherri Shepherd Doesn’t Care What You Think
Sherrie Shepherd has no guilt. No really, she doesn’t. She said she’s over all the mommy guilt.
She doesn’t really care what you have to say about her parenting style and I really kind of like her philosophy.
She said, “I guess when having a child and hitting 40…There’s something that happens,” she notes. “In your 20s, you really want everybody to like you. You’re insecure. In your 30s, you still want people to like you. It’s something about when you hit 40. You’re like, ‘I don’t care. Get over it.’”
Sherri is so serious about the no guilt parenting that she wrote a book about it. The book is called Permission Slips: Every Woman’s Guide To Giving Herself a Break.
We all know some mom out there that really needs to read this book. The mom that freaks out over every little thing. I know I can think of a few.
Sherri tries to live in the now and take time to just be with her 4 1/2 year-old son Jeffrey.
Don’t you just love when you can take the time to be with them? With mine its usually the time they pick to fight like cats and dogs, but I’ll take it any way I can get it.
