South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford’s Wife Files for Divorce
Jenny Sanford, mother of four sons with South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, won’t be joining a long list of political wives standing by their man following transgressions.
Jenny announced today that she is filing for divorce. Sanford disappeared for several days over Father’s Day Weekend, indicating that he’d gone hiking, but in fact was having an affair. Jenny says her decision comes after many unsuccessful attempts at reconciliation.
