Parents Say Alexa Ray Joel Suffered “Devestating Heartbreak”
Alexa Ray, the daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, is recovering, not just in body and spirit but that heart of hers will need some mending too.
Alexa’s parents issued a statement on Wednesday saying that their daughter’s “dangerous actions” were a result that came from… “suffering a devastating heartbreak.”
And that whole thing about Brinkley perhaps playing a part in Alexa’s attempt due to their mother/daughter fighting… Joel and Christie are saying the those reports, originating from the New York Post, are false.
Alexa Ray’s publicist said that she is feeling better and is spending time with family (she is staying at her dad’s house). Hopefully her heart will be healed soon.
