New Mom Idina Menzel May Join Glee Cast
New mom Idina Menzel is heading back to work. But she ain’t heading to stage or screen, she’s may be heading to Glee!
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Idina – who just had a baby in Sept – is in negotiations to join the cast of the uber popular show Glee. If she opts to take on the guest spot, she’ll play …the choir director of the big rival singing group called Vocal Adrenaline. Her role would debut in April and would run for the last nine episodes of the season. Glee fans were no doubt hoping that Idina would play Rachel’s long-lost mom (the actress Lea Michele bears a striking resembalance to Irina).
Hope Idina is getting enough rest with a newborn to start a new big production like this…
