A Role Model We Can All Agree On
It’s a nice change of pace to hear about a celebrity role model that doesn’t make me cringe. Carrie Underwood has become a role model to millions of young girls and is taking her role seriously.
As a parent you can go ahead a breathe a little sigh relief. I know if I had girls I would be pointing them toward books and such, but I would encourage them to like Carrie Underwood instead of Miley Cyrus.
Carrie says she’s not going to do anything that will embarrass her parents. She’s also not going to do anything that will embarrass her future children.
She doesn’t want to make her parents, who happen to be her role models, disappointed in her.
That all comes back to parenting and a job done right.
