I can only hope that my own daughter is as rich, successful and generous as Oprah. Why? Because after the talk show superstar’s mother got $155, 547 in debt to a Milwaukee clothing shop, Oprah stepped in and saved the day.
Valentina Inc. had a suit against Oprah’s mom but settled with Oprah for the amount due. The high-end boutique features designers like Zac Posen, Peter Som, Doo-Ri and See By Chloe. And with collections like that, I can see how one could rack up that much debt.
