Police Chief Guilty in Sarah Jessica Park Surrogate Case

One of Ohio’s un-finest was convicted of stealing items from Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker’s surrogate in a plot to sell the items and personal information to the tabloids.

Police Chief Barry Carpenter said he doesn’t “want to give up a 17-year  police career for something that was a joke.”  Errr, that was a good joke, Barry!  You should try stand-up!  The hilarity of items stolen included ultrasound pictures, tax information and surrogacy records.

The surrogate carried the couple’s twins and had to live at a motel toward the very end of the pregnancy.
