John Kerry’s Daughter Gets A Pass On DUI

A scandal that’s dead in the water before it even got started, Alexandra Forbes Kerry isn’t going to face any charges after being picked up for DUI last week.

The Los Angeles City Attorney has decided not to file charges against Senator John Kerry’s daughter.

Was there a cover up?  A bribe?  Dark political forces at work keeping Kerry out of jail?

Probably not.  Kerry’s blood alcohol level was .06 when she was stopped by the LAPD on Thursday morning.  The legal limit is .08, and the city attorney rarely prosecutes for a .06.

Sounds to me like Kerry was pulled over with a hangover.

Perhaps this call will be close enough for Kerry to consider a cab next time.
