vera farmiga up in the air 300x234 Vera Farmiga Felt Womanly Around George ClooneyVera Farmiga never felt more womanly’ than she did while filming Up In The Air opposite George Clooney. Wow that’s quite a statement, kudos to George.

Not to burst his bubble or anything the womanly feeling wasn’t solely due to his suave, debonair style. It was mostly due to the fact that she was an expectant mother and then a brand new mother during the course of the filming.

She said it was a little disconcerting even though it was awesome. “On one hand, yes, in normal, non-hormonal circumstances, I would have an easier time clicking in to the character’s suave coolness, sensuality and confidence. Focus was difficult. When your milk comes in and you know your child is hungry, and you’re wearing a silk shirt and you’re staring at George Clooney doing his close-up, having to interrupt and say, ‘Hold that thought!’ And go do that.”

She also said, “Truly, I’ve never felt more womanly than at that time in my life. And that probably added to the performance in delicious ways.”

I’m sure George got a kick out of that. I wonder if there were any practical jokes thrown in there to liven things up any more.

Congrats Vera!
