Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Celebrate Bronx’ 1st Birthday With Giant Sponge

ashWho lives in a pineapple under the sea? If you know the answer to that one, you know who Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz called in to help celebrate son Bronx’ 1st birthday. Ashlee and Pete invited around 30 friends and family, including aunt Jessica Simpson, for a party in Encino, CA that featured a visit from SpongeBob himself. What I want to know is - did they serve Krabby Patties?

True story - for my daughter’s 2nd birthday I hired ‘Ariel’ from The Little Mermaid to make an appearance, and they sent over a girl in a tattered, sequined skirt and a green tube top with her bra straps showing. I’m sure Pete and Ashlee didn’t have that experience, though - they hired party-planner-to-the stars Mindy Weiss to handle Bronx’ party.
