Tupperware Sponsors Soap Star Baby Shower

I always thought that one of the perks of being a celebrity was that you could afford some of the finer things in life.  Turns out the biggest perk is having someone else buy things for you.

The Young and the Restless star Michelle Stafford and 70 guests recently enjoyed a baby shower sponsored by Tupperware.

The party was hosted in Kirstie Alley’s home in the tradition of an English tea.  Guests were served sandwiches, scones, dozens of teas and clotted cream made by the mother-to-be’s own mother.  Select guests received Tiffany & Co. rings as thank you for helping Melissa through “three years of hell” as she struggled with infertility.

All guests were sent home with a vanilla bean cupcake topped with a glittery lavender-tinted frosting from Yummy Cupcakes and a Tupperware Cupcake Keeper.

Sponsored or not, imagine how pissed you’d be walking away with Tupperware instead of Tiffany.  Although I have to admit, both are better than most shower guest gifts I’ve ever received.
