Jerry Seinfeld Thinks Funny Is In The DNA
Jerry Seinfeld is convinced that he’s passed on his funny bone to at least one of this three children.
According to Seinfeld, his 8 year old daughter Sascha has inherited his love for comedy.
“It does seem to be in the DNA somewhere,” Seinfeld says, “because I see her falling asleep with these big joke books.”
Why should it be notable that a nine year old little girl likes joke books?
According to Jerry, “She’s 8-years-old — she can read anything, why’s she reading jokes? I think it’s somewhere in the biology.”
My 9 year old son reads joke books too, but I’m not quite ready to sign up him for weekends at the comedy club. Then again, I’m not a ragingly successful comedian, a job that Jerry says makes for quality parenting. “You can work when you want to. I get to roll around with them all the time — it’s fantastic.”
