John Travolta’s Wife Begs Him Not To Testify Again
John Travolta barely made it through the extremely painful process of recounting the events of his son Jett’s death last September, will he be back to relive the events yet again for the retrial? His wife Kelly Preston hopes not. She’s reportedly pleading with John to stay away from the witness stand, even though the defendants could walk without his testimony.
Says a source close to the case:
“Attorneys in the case have been told that Kelly doesn’t want John to have to go through that again. And if she persuades him not to give evidence for a second time, the heart of the prosecution will be cut out. It could mean the charges being bargained down – and BOTH defendants walking free.”
During the process of preparing to testify against the men who allegedly tried to blackmail him in the moments just before his son Jett’s death, John Travolta suffered an emotional collapse of sorts.
It was apparently very scary for both him and the family, but he made it through and delivered the testimony that probably would have resulted in a conviction.
How awful is it that John not only had to suffer the indignity of being blackmailed just after losing his son, but then had his heart-wrenching testimony thrown out in a case that was declared a mistrial. Do you think he should testify again? Or leave it up to chance?
