Rachel Bilson Says She’ll Quit Hollywood For Motherhood

Former star of The OC and That 70’s Show Rachel Bilson says she’ll give up life in Hollywood if she gets pregnant.

The actress is not a mother yet, but she hopes that it’s in her future.  Bilson says, “When I’m older I really want a family.”  And when that day comes, she’s insistent that she’ll leave the glamorous life behind for the sake of her children.

“I want to raise my kids where they don’t know what a camera following them is like.” Rachel goes on to say, “I have a seven-year-old sister so aware of paparazzi it’s unbelievable. It’s too weird for me.”

For now, Rachel is splitting her time between Los Angeles and boyfriend Hayden Christensen’s farm in remote Canada.  Her Los Angeles home was invaded by thieves earlier this year, so it’s no wonder the girl imagines a simpler life away from the craziness of LA.

Of course, those of us who already have children remember all of the things we promised to do once we had kids of our own.  It will be interesting to see if Bilson makes good on hers should she actually find herself on Bump Watch.
