Nick Hogan Says He’s Matured Since Being In Jail
Nick Hogan, 19-year old son of wrestling champ and reality TV star Hulk Hogan, says that his stint in jail changed him.
Nick Hogan spent time at a wrap party last week talking to reporters about how much he’s grown up since being released from jail last year.
“It changed me tremendously. I’ve matured a lot, and I realized that a lot of the things that I was doing were wrong. I realized that I was on a path of destruction,” said Nick.
Nick was serving time after a 2007 car accident that left his best friend, John Graziano, requiring a lifetime of medical care. He was charged with reckless driving in the crash and spent 5 months in jail. Now Nick, who just finished filming on a horror movie, is on probation. Hogan promises that he is taking his probation seriously.
“I check in with my probation officer all the time. I’m very, very good about that. I’m very careful about the situations I put myself into.”
Nick and his sister Brooke Hogan have been through a lot since their years on the reality TV show Hogan Knows Best, including a very public and nasty divorce between their parents. But Nick is confident that good times are ahead now. “Now we’re all doing wonderful. We’ve all had our time to heal and to recover from all the drama.”
At only 19, Nick has a lot of road ahead of him. Hopefully his new found maturity will serve him well.
