Madonna Gets Success With Donations
Madonna is starting a children’s charity in Brazil. She was there for five days to schmooze the country’s wealthiest business people and secure donations.
She, boyfriend Jesus Luz and her rabbi attended a fancy dinner party and arrived by helicopter at the home of Eike Batista, Brazil’s richest man. He promised a donation of $7 million.
The charity will be called Success for Kids.
Since Jesus’s family lives there, it was speculated that meeting them was her main mission. However Madonna said before her visit, “I am going there strictly for fundraising and humanitarian purposes.”
