Jerry O’Connell Says One Daughter More Diabolical

Jerry O’Connell is just like your dad.  He’s counting the days for his kids to grow up and support him, and living for the occasional night out with his wife Rebecca Romijn in the meantime.

Of course, your dad wasn’t married to Rebecca Romijn.  But other than that, they are exactly the same.

O’Connell and Romijn have twin 10-month-old daughters, and he share d some insight into life with twin girls recently.

Jerry says one twin is “go with anything, you put her down, she’s cool with it,” while the other is “just a little more demanding, and wants her way.”  When asked to comment on which twin was which, he wisely took the fifth.  “I just shouldn’t say, but one is a little more diabolical than the other one, but I like that…it shows spunk.”

Neither Charlie Tamara Tulip or Dolly Rebecca Rose, it seems, will have press clippings to hang over Dad’s head when they get older.  Smart move on Jerry’s part, since he’s hopping the girls will be able to take care of him later in life.

The girls are Capricorns, which O’Connell suggests means that “they’re going to be independently wealthy, so I’m hoping they can make some money and help fund my horse racing habit.  Note I said habit and not addiction.”  Another press clipping disaster averted!

With twin babies at home, mom a working actress, and dad attending law school at night, O’Connell says that he looks forwarded to a little adult only time on occasion.  The couple relies on grandparents to pull babysitting duty from time to time.

“We throw the kids at them and then we’ll take off for a couple of hours and go out to dinner,” Jerry admits. “Sounds pretty tame, but when you have kids, you can’t fly off to Bora Bora for a weekend. Even a quiet dinner at Chili’s away from the kids is just — I love them! — but it’s a relief!”

I hear ya, Jerry.  I, too, miss those weekends in Bora Bora since the kids came along!
