Rick Parfitt Comes Home To London
Rick Parfitt and his wife Lyndsay arrived in London with their twins Tommy and Lily. Rick is the guitarist for Status Quo and Holy crud, I just realized that he’s 61 and she’s 49.
The couple tried for years to have a baby naturally with no success. 2 years ago they turned to IVF and were fortunate enough to have twins.
The couple has had their fair share of tragedy. Lyndsay was never able to conceive after having two life-threatening ectopic pregnancies and two miscarriages earlier in life. Rick’s two-year-old daughter, Heidi, drowned in his pool in 1980.
Rick says that: ‘It is beautiful to have a daughter again. You can never replace Heidi but to have a little girl again is a dream for me.’
I’m so happy for the couple. They have both had some hard times and it’s nice to see them happy again.
