Britney Defends Lip-Synching Down Under
Sean Preston, Jayden James and boyfriend/manager Jason Trawick flew into Melbourne on Tuesday to join Britney Spears on her Australian tour.
It was reported that Britney has been down in the dumps because the Aussies are mad about her lip synching.
She released a statement defending her right to mime.
“I hear there is a lot of controversy in the media about my show,” Spears said. “Some reporters have said they love it and some don’t. I came to Australia for my fans!”
Meanwhile, she has been indulging in retail therapy.
“Went shopping on Collins Street yesterday and got a lot of my Christmas presents. Melbourne is beautiful. Can’t wait to see more. -Britney,” she Tweeted on Tuesday.
Don’t worry Australian fans, she’s not backing down. Brit is set to perform (and mouth) three shows in Melbourne!
