Michelle Obama Is On Her Way To Sesame Street

Sesame Street is marking 40 years on the air, and First Lady Michelle Obama is appearing as a special guest star to help celebrate the occasion.

On Tuesday, Michelle Obama will appear on the popular children’s television series and have a chat with Big Bird himself.  According to online previews, Big Bird and Michelle talk about how tall the First Lady is.

Mrs. Obama has a meeting with another Sesame Street superstar, the infamous Elmo.  Michelle talks to Elmo and a few kids about gardening, showing them how to plant seeds in the ground, water them, and wait for them sprout.

Cameron Diaz will also guest star on Tuesday’s episode.

Is Sasha still young enough at 8 to think that it’s cool for her mom to be on Sesame Street?
