Sarah Jessica Parker Loves The Smell Of Diapers In The Morning
Over time, I guess it’s possible to develop all kinds of weird parenting fetishes, but I don’t think I could ever love the stench of diapers like SJP. According to her latest interview in Elle, Sarah Jessica Parker thinks diapers smell like fresh baked goods. Really? What’d she do, go to a hypnotist?
Actually, that’s probably not a bad idea… especially when you’ve got 5-month-old twins in the house. I bet a lot of parents would pay good money to think that their kid’s dirty diapers smelled like a delicious blueberry walnut scone.
Here’s the quote, taken completely out of context from Elle:
“I love the smell of diapers; I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm like a baked good.”
This, coming from a woman with 3 top-selling celebrity fragrances to her name. Maybe she doesn’t like baked goods? I wonder if the interviewer thought to ask her that?
SJP also discussed how she and Matthew came up with the twins’ names: Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell. Says SJP:
“He [James] told me he really wanted Marion to be in the mix… We thought, ‘Are we crazy? Do we let our son name one of the girls? Is that the right thing to do? Is it important for him?’ And then he goes, and I want it legal.”
