Robin Wright Left Hollywood To Protect Hopper Jack Penn
Robin Wright says she didn’t want her family to be like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
Robin Wright has talked before about giving up her acting career to focus on raising her kids. Now Wright, who filed for divorce from Sean Penn last August, says she moved her family out of Hollywood to protect her children.
In an upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly, she says, “I didn’t want to raise my kids in this weird, sycophantic society. If you have celebrity parents, it’s not a good recipe for the kids, or anyone at any age. Look at what Brad and Angelina go through.”
Maybe she should have moved a little further away.
Hopper Jack, Wright’s 16-year old son with actor Sean Penn, was recently arrested for drugs at his Malibu high school.
It’s sad to think that, in spite of all the sacrifices Robin has made for her two children, her youngest has hit the tabloids before his 18th birthday.
